Cheque it out

I was searching for something.  Drawers are the place where I drop everything that I cannot throw out and yet don't know where to keep.  So I started searching them.  A few minutes into the search, I discovered a cheque that I had not deposited in the bank.  I kept it aside and continued my search.  Soon, I found another cheque and a little later another.  Within a few minutes, I had five or six cheques.  I was puzzled and wondered how this happened and where the cheques came from.  I looked at thedates on the cheques and to my relief found them valid still.  Then I looked at the amounts.  The first one was for 50K, the second one 49K, the third 100K, ... Wait a minute; this can't be true.  This has to be a dream.  Poof!
